Join Us This Saturday
Sabbath School: 9:45 am
Worship Service: 11:15 am
Church services will be starting this Sabbath, January 16, and mid-week meetings starting on January 20th.
The Church Board is Highly recommending that everyone wear a mask and masks will be provided at the front door when you come. We are also asking for your help by social distancing in the sanctuary by spreading out. Pews will be marked off to help with the process.
We are asking “At-Risk” members to stay home and continue to enjoy our online services until they feel safe that they can return to public activities.
If you or your children are sick, think you or anyone in your family might be getting sick, or show symptoms that are similar to COVID-19 or the flu, please stay home.
Sabbath School and a “main” service live-streamed on Zoom to allow members to continue to stay home and watch online. A link will be emailed to you for this option.
There will be hand sanitizer available and the sanctuary, greeting area, nursery and restrooms will be wiped down with disinfectant. Commonly touched areas throughout the church will also be disinfected.
Social Distancing Guidelines
Please refrain from hugging, shaking hands, or any close contact with anyone that that does not live in your dwelling space. Parents with children will be asked to keep their kids' insight to help maintain social distancing guidelines.
Families that live together will be encouraged to sit together. Otherwise please keep some space between you/your family and other individuals/families. The plan is to sit every other pew at alternating ends. In order to maintain social distancing pews will be marked off so you can see where we need you to sit.
There will be a story, but we are asking that children stay with their parents or guardian throughout the story. The children will not be picking up an offering. Instead, these offerings can be deposited in the dropbox on the door to the pastor’s office.
We encourage you to use online giving as your primary giving option. If you wish to give a check or cash in an envelope, these can be deposited in the dropbox on the door to the pastor’s office.
Sabbath School Classes
Our hope and plan are that both Sabbath Schools will be meeting. Please keep in mind social distancing.
Please take extra care when you are washing your hands. Hand sanitizer stations will be made available throughout the church for your convince.
No fellowship meals until further notice.
These guidelines, while seeming restrictive, are necessary actions required to continue to protect our members from potentially spreading viral infections to each other, such as COVID-19 and Influenza.
The fact is, about half of our membership falls into the “at-risk” category by either age or physical ailments. We want to make sure that we consider this as the public strives to return to public life. Our hopes are that some of these restrictions may one soon be lifted. The church board will evaluate current trends and keep you informed if there are any changes. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Looking forward to seeing you in person,
Pastor Bryan Laue
